The standalone monitors Apple has sold — the ones you buy without a Mac built in — from the very first flat panel in 1998 to today’s Studio Display. It walks the whole arc: the early Studio and Cinema displays of the late 1990s and 2000s, the LED Cinema and Thunderbolt displays that added a single-cable dock, and the modern Pro Display XDR and Studio Display line.
Prices are the starting US price in dollars at launch and exclude tax. Only standalone displays are listed — the screens built into iMacs and notebooks live with those products. Connectors track the era: DVI and the Apple Display Connector (ADC) on the early panels, Mini DisplayPort on the LED Cinema displays, then Thunderbolt over USB-C on the modern ones.
